Police, Fire and Ambulance – Emergency Services

South Coast Private advocates in support of active serving and former police officers and emergency service personnel.

Your care in our hands

Our aim is to provide treatment, care and support to those officers who are suffering from PTSD, anxiety and depression, and to alleviate the isolation and stigma that is generally associated when diagnosed with these conditions. Working with the NSW Police Commissioner’s department, we guide active serving and retired officers through the path to recovery.

Working hand-in-hand

South Coast Private is active in the physical support for police, fire and ambulance personnel along with their families in need, through interaction with the state emergency services community and through organisations like Rotary, Lions, Scouts, Guides, church groups, youth groups, ethnic groups, and related business people.

“What lies behind us … and what lies before us … are tiny matters compared to what lies within us”. Commissioner Andrew Scipione APM, Commissioner of Police, NSW Police Force

Serving and supporting

We are committed to strengthening and extending our support for all emergency services personnel dealing with any form of stigma or mental health related illness and distress. South Coast Private’s experienced psychiatrists and clinicians provide active serving and retired officers with the tools to aid in their response to, and on their path towards recovery from, related mental health conditions.
